2018 —
Launch a film career and save a life
Young drivers are notoriously difficult to reach with road safety messages,
The Split Second Film Competition — an initiative by TAC and Melbourne International Film Festival (MIFF) calls on young people to help make the message relatable, rather than authoritarian. Offered to budding filmmakers aged 18–25, participants must submit an idea for a 45-second film designed to get people thinking about their attitudes and behaviours around using phones while driving.
We were engaged to concept and manage the initiative from end to end and develop a brand identity to attract and excite potential young filmmakers. Following the success of the 2018 competition, The Split Second Film Competition is back for its second year.
